I just saw this email today when a friend of mine told me he cannot use my free Megaupload account:

Dear afufu,
Our records indicate that your Megaupload account may have been compromised.
Possible reasons for this include
- an easy to guess password,
- someone watching your keystrokes,
- spyware on your computer,
- someone eavesdropping on your Internet connection (are you using
unsecured WiFi?),
- link sharing programs such as “Xunlei Thunder”.
(Please turn off any “IP hiding” tools or anonymizing proxies, as these will trigger false alarms.)
During the past 24 hours, your account was used to download a total of 4,229 megabytes.
Downloads originated from the following countries:
United States
Germany
Malaysia
Australia
To prevent further damage, we have blocked access to your account while we investigate the matter.
Do not hesitate to contact us by simply replying to this e-mail.
Yours sincerely,

At first I thought someone changed the password, but then when I saw the message about my account downloading more than 4 GB a day, I realized that a lot of people are just using it to download my site’s videos. Sure I can reply to them, but then I’m not that good in explaining stuff. So my solution is either you make your own free Megaupload account, or tell me if you can’t download a password-protected video, and I’ll just make a non-password version of it. The remaining problem is for those who cannot download instantly because there’s no available slot in their country.
In conclusion, I think it’s better if you just make your own personal Megaupload account.
Thank you and Merry New year.
