Neon Genesis Evangelion: Shinji Ikari’s Detective Journal

Asuka fantasy magazine has announced that there’ll be a new Evangelion comedy manga to launced on February 24, 2010. The title is Shin Seiki Evangelion: Ikari Shinji Tantei Nikki (Neon Genesis Evangelion: Shinji Ikari’s Detective Journal). The project is in collaboration with both Gainax and Studio Khara, and Takumi Yoshimura will be the mangaka.

I’m not really a big fan of Evangelion spin-off mangas, but if this one could be as good as Detective Conan then this should be very interesting.
