Important notes:

Eva_site^^ was the original name of this site, annoying isn’t it? It’s because the name of my channel in an anime irc server was ‘Eva_chat^^’ ..simply means ‘Evangelion chatroom’ and for ‘Eva_site^^’, you know the next.

In August 2004, ‘#Eva_chat^^’ became ‘#N.G.E~clipse’ meaning ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion -Eclipse’. Though my site’s name is still the first one.

The new title wasn’t named after the ‘Evangelion Eclipse’ bags. I changed the name in 2004 and the licensed bags were released in the year 2005. Actually I can’t believe when I saw those, I thought to myself “Did they create those merchandise for me? *laugh*. I’m not saying they got the name from my site, ’cause I do believe in coincidence, but it’s just that I don’t want people to think that it was me who got ‘Eclipse’ from them.

The Renaissance ed. was the only third version of this site where there are no dead links.

Twenty six layouts were created, 15 were published, 11 were not.

The complete name of this site is ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion -Ethereal Eclipse’

The subdomain name came from Kaworu Nagisa (the Fifth Child), he’s the angel of ‘freewill’.

Meaning of ‘Ethereal Eclipse’:

A seraph’s tear in a killer’s palm; traces of cold mist in the humid light; the iris of irony peeps, guards, haunts, the mistresses of Time like the era’s dream – the eclipse. Souls wait for its dawn in the sky of the green land for countless years – basking in its emitted surreal radiance that will last only in 30 turns of motion of the human eye. After the stolen chance, the next lineage of the fragile race of this world will wait again, to even just behold such majestic prosaic for a finite moment. But spirits will not waver; no feet will step back, for the captured blazing luminescence of an eclipse may be seen by the naked eye temporarily, but its celestial spark will burn in the human’s memoirs…forever.

Being an independent webmaster is hard, but in the end it all pays off.

This site is dedicated especially for my mom and all the Evangelion fans.

Some past layouts:

The ‘Black Prima’, this was something made by friend (redvoucher@yahoo) for me.

The first layout of Alpha and Omega version, and the first design where I used ‘real-life’ images.

I actually love this one, it’s so unique, especially the navigation on the left. I also like the combination of Kaworu and a cat. ^^

The ‘Girlfriend of Steel 2′ themed layout. A neat site, with again, a unique simple navigation.

A very light brown color themed layout. I was so glad after making this one ’cause I taught this is gonna be ‘it’. But then I had some issues with the table, so I didn’t publish it.

Then when I made a layout for one of my sites, I finally found the solution on my problem, but then, it’s too late. -_-;

The last layout for the Hakkin edition of Alpha and Omega version.

Out of all the layout I created for Platinum ed., this was the only one that lasted for months.

The inspiration for this came from National Geographic, and Will & Grace.
