From MaRo:
I was originally going to write a section about the future of cycling design but the decided against it as part of the fun of bringing old mechanics back is seeing what new things we do with it. For example, this fall when we bring back [CENSORED] . I don’t think anyone would have expected [CENSORED] (really, if someone told you we’d have [CENSORED] without [CENSORED] , would you have believed them?)
What could that be? Well, 2 abilities have been suggested, and they are:
Never even realized it myself. But..
From MarcusTorrent:

I can’t believe this didn’t occur to me earlier.
Take a look at Eldrazi Monument . What are those floating cubes in the background? They look like Mana Vaults!
This makes sense from the perspective that the Eldrazi are ancient and by retconning them to have created at least one of Magic’s powerful mana artifacts seems plausible as we were told that mana in Zendikar is unstable/weird.
and..
From Metallix87:
I read the article in the MTG website, I read all of them. And for the sake of those who don’t want to read a fairly long article, I got the 10 most interesting questions asked and I also only posted the most exciting and amusing answers from Mark Rosewater to save you guys some time. So, yes, I summarized it for you guys.

#1: rickits24: When do you plan to release the Future-shifted cards such as Tarmogoyf? Is it one of those “perpetual eventually” situations?
maro: I think when Future Sight is ten years old and people look back, they’ll see all the seeds planted in it. Let me end by stressing that some things in Future Sight will never see print.
#2 JackCain: Multicolor is fun but there’s been too much. Will we see a move away from it all together or will it remain as a minor element?
maro: Zendikar does not have a multicolor theme. Lights, the large set from 2010, does not have a multicolor theme. Look forward to the possibility of playing monocolored decks. (Have no fear, multicolor lovers—it will return one day.)
#3 7sigma: It was said that Zendikar’s theme will be something new. Can you give us a hint? Pirates and dinosaurs are leading the rumors.
maro: Here’s my hint. There is a space in Magic design that we’ve explored on individual cards but have never explored thematically as a block theme. We started with that theme and then crafted a world that made it make sense. I do feel the world we’ve create is a resonant one, but not one with pirates or dinosaurs. Or robots. Or ninjas. Or monkeys. Let me wrap this answer up by saying that I’m quite excited with how Zendikar turned out.
