Who will be the first winner of Project Runway Philippines?
- Philipp Tampus = 59% - 138 votes
- Aries Lagat = 23% - 55 votes
- Veejay Floresca = 18% - 42 votes
I’m not going to tell who I voted for, but all I can say is.. my top two were the actual Top 2.
Thanks for all the visitors of this PRP blog of mine, and see you all next year!
Last challenge: Create a 12 Piece Collection in 12 Weeks
Eliminated model: Jo-An
Jojie Llorel, the mentor, visited the three finalists in their homes to see the current status of their collections for the upcoming finale. First stop was in Makati City where Veejay Floresca resides. Before everything else, Veejay gave Jojie a picture of the two of them as a Thank You gift. Then they went to the workroom to start the one-on-one consultation. Jojie liked the palette Veejay used, but worried about the entire collection, not being close to 50% done. This is the first flashback episode of Project Runway Philippines, or as I like to call it “The bloopers episode.”
The first clip showed us about the judges Rajo Laurel, an international Filipino fashion designer, and Apples Aberin-Sahdwani, who started out in the fashion industry at an early age of 16. It was followed by Jojie Lloren, who I taught was chosen by the producers instantly, but wasn’t. Continue reading ‘Episode 13: The First Fourteen’
Like Spoilers? No? Then I warn you… don’t proceed any further on reading this post.

First of all congratulations to John Trinidad for winning the Fan Fave Promo contest, he won luxurious items for that. The designer he voted was Eli Gonzales, so congratulations also to him. I’m not supposed to say this so early, ‘coz this fan fave contest was announced, almost at the end of the show, but to make sure people would read this, I’m going to put this in the first few paragraphs.
I’m going to be straightforward… I think Eli won not because Continue reading ‘Episode 12: I Know What You Said Behind My Back’
I wasn’t that eager on watching this episode because of the unflattering showdown of the Top Five last week, but when Philipp joked about the boneless fish, I finally got interested again.
In the models, nothing thrilling happened, Mara stayed with Jo-an. The designers was sent to another trip again, and this time they were taken to a museum - Philippine International Convention Center. When they arrived, they met Teresa with Carlos Celdran Continue reading ‘Episode 11: Road to Finale’
Who won’t make it to Philippine Fashion Week?
- Mara = 48% - 25 votes
- Philipp = 25% - 13 votes
- Veejay = 17% - 9 votes
- Aries = 10% - 5 votes
Our crystal ball finally worked! Mara, the underdog, failed to enter the top 3, but I guess she’ll still show a collection. I’m not sure, ‘coz in Project Runway US, all the designers in the last challenge usually have their own collection Continue reading ‘Poll Result: Who won’t enter the Top 3?’
It’s all about the hood.
Mara, being the only member of the bitch club remaining, was feeling uneasy. But the tense surrounding her could be the key for her adrenaline rush. Aries on the other hand, had a very dark mood ring early in the morning. Continue reading ‘Episode 10: Mara’
Name your top three!
- Jaz = 71% - 25 votes
- Veejay = 69% - 24 votes
- Aries = 60% - 21 votes
- Mara = 49% - 17 votes
- Philipp = 29% - 10 votes
My three votes went to Jaz, Aries, and Philipp.
Jaz was the most expected designer to be one of the top three, but unfortunately she was recently eliminated.
This is the third poll where people’s choice is the exact opposite of the actual outcome. Our top two were the bottom two. (whazz wit that?)
The princess maybe young, but the store isn’t.
I just want to say, this episode’s opening is probably the best. With the evening shots and scenes, plus the ballad music. Though it’s also the saddest, with some of the designers crying like a river. Continue reading ‘Episode 9: Cinderella is 60, not 16.’
