Dayo Won Four MMFF Awards
Sunday, December 28th, 2008Dayo, the first animated film to enter the Metro Manila Film Festival has won four awards, including Best Theme Song — “Lipad” performed by Lea Salonga. It was the 2nd most awarded movie, next to Baler which garnered ten awards.

Dayo – Rated “A”
Friday, December 26th, 2008“Dayo”, the first animated film to enter the MMFF was graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board, along with “Magkaibigan” and ” Baler”. The five other entries – “Desperadas 2″, “Iskul Bukol”, “One Night Only”, “Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat”, and “Shake, Rattle, and Roll X”, were all graded B.
