Dayo, the first animated film to enter the Metro Manila Film Festival has won four awards, including Best Theme Song — “Lipad” performed by Lea Salonga. It was the 2nd most awarded movie, next to Baler which garnered ten awards.

If I’m not mistaken, the box office results has a connection to the three Best Picture winners (such nonsense), if only there’s no such (stupid) ruling, the three rated “A” films would’ve won the Best Picture awards.

Why did Robert Quilao win the Best Visual Effects awards? shouldn’t it be someone who actually made the visual effects who should be credited? just wondering!

I searched the net and this is what I found: “Robert Quilao is a partner and director at Cutting Edge Productions.”

I guess he represents or he is the head of Cutting Edge Prod.
